DNMSDevelopmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS) was influenced by a number of well-known therapies and disciplines, such as neuroscience, developmental psychology, ego state therapy, inner-child work, and EMDR. It is based on what is known about how a child’s brain develops within a healthy family. By providing corrective emotional experiences to wounded child parts it helps those wounds to heal. This is very helpful for anyone who repeats patterns of behavior in spite of negative consequences and a very strong desire to change.
